CINÉMA AFRICAIN! / Filmfestival Linz / 05 - 08 NOV 2025 

The 2nd edition of CINÉMA AFRICAIN! in Linz showcases the creative diversity of Africa and its diaspora. The festival presents artistically innovative works that challenge stereotypes, open new perspectives and explore social, historical, and ecological themes. It focuses on questions of identity, colonial history, feminism, and the relationship between humans, land, nature, and spirituality. A varied framework program will further invite dialogue and exchange. This year’s highlights include the book presentation Cinéma Africain: Archiving, Resistance and Freedom.
